Happy Valentines Day Hair lovers!!!

It has definitely been a minute! I do apologize.  In the recent month I have completed a move to San Diego, California and today picked up my license to officially, and legally do hair in California! YAY!!!

I have recently started working in a salon and spa "WalterTodd" in the North park area.  I am so excited to be joining their family of very talented stylists and fun and positive energy!!  I hope that if any of you all know anyone in the Hillcrest, North Park, Balboa area let them know I have arrived and would love to help them achieve their hair destiny!

To all of My client-friends in Atlanta and all my family, I am truly blessed to have you in my life!  All of your support, well wishes, and sadness for your hair that I was leaving have been such an amazing boost of energy and confidence.  The life I lead as a stylist is that of knowing I will never be the best, I will never know it all, and all I can continue to do is my best.  Your encouragement and support have made me feel closer to my goals and have pushed me to believe that I really am good and I can do anything.  So, I thank you and love you all!

And so it is..... Valentines day that is!! So guys use those products to use appropriately and correctly (check earlier post for help) and ladies break out those curling irons, hot rollers, and hairspray and enjoy the love of one another and eachother... and for your hair, eh! We'll take care of putting the love back in tomorrow after tonight's teasing fun!!

Much love and happy hair!!

Hello all and Happy New Year!

Tis the season for a new look and new you!  That's at least what I hear mostly this time of year.  So... I just have a few suggestions......  If you are ready to change your look whether it's drastic or not, schedule a consultation with your hairstylist.  Don't worry!  They should only last about 15 minutes and should be free! Even if you have to do a phone consult with your stylist, it is better than not doing it at all. This gives you both the chance to talk about what you really want, what will work and what's realistic.  It also gives you the chance to go home and think about it and come up with a great decision for your look. This is also a great idea for timing.  If you are anxious for a new look and book any random appointment the stylist might not have the time to complete your look or at least complete it good enough and the way you wanted.  It's very important to care enough about your look to book a consultation before your service.  In conclusion, the consultation helps you make a non-impulsive, educated decision and also helps you book the appropriate appointment, making it a win-win situation for you and your stylist!

Is your idea a picture?????  No we do not hate pictures.  Sometimes lingo's and communication can be lost in translation.  A picture actually helps both party's come to the same conclusion.  That being said it is very important that the hair in the picture you select has relevance to your hair type and life style.  If you have straight, fine hair it won't be possible to give you Taylor swifts hair.  Or vice versa and not have enough time in your day to straighten and style your natural Taylor swift hair to look like Jennifer Anniston.

I hope that this helps you all in your new year, new look! And don't be scared to ask any questions!
